The app
The BandSesh app has no account and no server of ours. Your devices connect only to each other, over the local network or directly, and nothing from a session leaves them. The app sends something only when you send us feedback.
Camera and local network
The app asks to use the camera only to scan the QR code that joins a session, and the local network only to find the other devices in your session and keep them in time. Songs you import stay on your device, and the host sends the song it opens only to the devices in its session.
Purchases
BandSesh Premium is a subscription you buy through Apple's App Store, which handles the payment. We never see your payment details or your Apple account. The app only asks the App Store whether this device has Premium. What it counts for your trial summary, such as songs played, stays on your device.
Feedback
If you send feedback, from the app or from this site, it goes to opini, the service we use to read it. We see what you write and, from the app, its version, your iOS version and your device model, or, from this site, the page you were on and your screen size and browser. Your email address is sent only if you add it, so that we can reply. To have feedback deleted, write to the address on the imprint page.
This website
This site counts visits using Umami, an analytics tool we run ourselves on our own server. It also counts which links and buttons are pressed, whether the demo is played, how far down a page is scrolled, which parts come into view, and how long a page stays open. Umami sets no cookies, stores no personal data, and does not follow you to other sites. Because it sets no cookies and does not identify you, there is no consent banner.
Where it runs
This website and our domain names are served by Bunny, a European content delivery network.
What we do not do
No advertising, no tracking across other sites, and no selling or sharing of your data with anyone beyond the services named on this page.
